Well now im using RDX i am sort of in the same boat, to answer you q, it means things like the resist check, durability check, item check etc... dont work but otherwise thats it.  You also cant see the MT's but i never really used them anyway as i have manual binds to assist the usual tanks.

While you probably dont disconnect due to it (it doesn't really send a lot of data) i noticed by switching i have gained 4-5fps out of it, CTRA i was never really happy with so its fun to try something new.
