I’m not telling the entire truth though, we have still have 2 achievements left to do Supermassive and He Feeds On Your Tears. Quite and a achievement anyway, in fact we have done most achievements of any guild in the world.

Ulduar have been one of the most successful periods of Infamous ever and we have established ourselves as a guild to watch out for.

Now that Ulduar has been out for a few weeks, it’s time for an update!

Since the release of Ulduar we have been progressing out our own pace. In our normal hardcore-yet-casual way we’ve managed to secure a huge amount of achievements, many of them being realm firsts.

These are the current standings as of this morning.

Over the last couple of weeks we had a slight lack of members, meaning we had to keep our aims on completing as many achievements as possible, leaving the harder ones until later. Last week we recruited a few more members to give us a little push ending in 3 hardmode kills in 3 nights, 2 of which were realm firsts.

We don’t intend to slow down any time soon, so lets hope we keep the current momentum and grab some more realm firsts!

Not much happening leading up to the expansion. Following the below posts, alliance raid managed to finish off the last horde faction leader granting the raid another trophy mount. The bears are cool looking with the Alliance blue colour armour. Although after much gloating from the Alliance side and some obviously taunting fake posts on the realm forums, Horde side organised it’s own raid successfully and earned their achievement as well. Well done to both.

Their bears have red colour armour as you can see in the photo.

I’ll try to post more during the weeks leading up to the expansion, giving you the insight of how Infamous is handling the transition to WotLK and our imminent success in the expansion.

You guys realize they’re on an automatic timer, right? Like it’s not Tigole sitting at a big red button and saying “YES, IT IS TIME” to bring each new gate down?

No doubt to be defeated you will need 1,000,000 Mark of Kil’jaedens – start farming. I can’t wait to start working on him and steal the server first like we always do. Good luck to all on the server, and from what we’ve seen so far with progress on the realm it looks like a close race.

Also a quick thanks to Otur guild for letting us use their unfinished Black Temple instance. We were shocked as well when 3 x Conqueror dropped not giving their shaman Xorbas any loot in the end. I’m sorry you had to be around when our part time healer/part time tankadin Scottw learned tanking Illidan for the first time. I thought it was fun.

Still working on this encounter – roughly 10 hours worth of attempts spread over 4.5 nights. We’re going back tonight with a reworked strategy which will allow us to see phase two more consistantly. We’re currently using three tanks using a protection paladin as the Sentinel/Spawn tank at the same time. Bit tricky but we seem to be able to pull it off.

Hopefully we’ll get some progress tonight and see a kill soon just in time for the new gate to be opened.

Common view is that its everyone’s fault.

The guild didn’t fucking die because Intricacy is a bad parent. The guild dying is not sunshine and motherfucking rainbows. The guild dying isn’t XI’s fault, its not your fault, its EVERYONE’s fault, The End.

Another one blames it on a single member, a girl.

Intricacy was indeed a cancer to the guild. Drama warned the entire guild about her but it fell on dead ears because hey once youâ??re a member youâ??re a member for life. She led to several dedicated hard raiding members to quit and not care anymore.

And so many others, but it seems that the guild changed so many members over the years that it didnt reassmble the original World First / US First killing team that we once knew. A lot of guilds have gone through this but it seems they couldn’t handle the transition and yearned the “old times” sort of. Anyway, the thread is located here.

All the top raiding secrets are also revealed. The only way to kill Firemaw apparently is to kite him to Vael’s room and dps the crap out of him there.

The truth about Firemaw is that we pulled him to Vaels room, and kited him up and down and all around the steps to avoid his flame buffet. It took over an hour of dps with dots and frostbolts and whatever anyone could hit him with from one level to the next, and whoever managed to get aggro (dps class) then had to run for their life.

Seriously, read the thread if you have some time spare. Some of it is funny while most posts are serious in a way the patient goes to the psychiatrist’s office and tells ALL.

RIP Death & Taxes 2004 – 2008

Just a small update as regards to the progress in Sunwell Plateau. We’ve successfully cleared four bosses including Eredar Twins which we’ve killed both ways (normal & reverse). Both strategies require precise control from everyone’s characters so there is no telling which is harder. Although the reverse strategy gives more loot in the end which is always a bonus.

We’re continuing with the Sunwell progression and are currently working on M’uru.
